Join a cross‑functional squad dedicated to building and maintain customized features and extensions on top of our core platform. You'll help deliver region‑specific and client‑specific solutions without impacting core services, enabling rapid global expansion.

What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain applications using Golang or Java, following clean code and best software engineering practices.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine and deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.
- Leverage AWS services such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge in day-to-day development.
- Use Terraform to provision, maintain, and evolve AWS infrastructure.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system robustness.
- Monitor application health and performance using observability tools (metrics, logs, alerts).
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Contribute to architectural and technical discussions, supporting continuous improvement and innovation.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote
Qualifications
Basic Qualification
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Golang with strong proficiency
- Experience with AWS (SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Writing and validating unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests
- Experience with Swagger / OpenAPI and API documentation
- Ability to identify and resolve distributed systems issues
- Knowledge of relational database design and non-relational strategy, effective data modeling. Identifies and resolves distributed systems issues for improved reliability.
- Understanding of observability practices (monitoring, tracing, alerting).
- For this role, you must be based in Brazil.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adaptability to Java / Groovy / JVM-based languages
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Argo, Jenkins, Codefresh)
- Experience with Financial Industry or Payments / Authorization Systems.
