Job Description

As the Senior Product Manager, Visa Dispute Managed Services, you will be an individual contributor, responsible for leading our global managed-dispute business. This service manages disputes on behalf of our issuing clients. This global role involves collaborating across all regional sales, product and client services teams at Visa to deliver the service and grow the business.

Your role will encompass a variety of product leadership responsibilities including market/competitive analysis, strategy development, product roadmap management, along with the definition and commercialization of new services/enhancements. In collaboration with the Disputes Platform Development team, you will strategize, develop, and roll out dispute management product/features, while enhancing existing capabilities in line with product strategy and roadmap.

This position also involves working closely with teams across Dispute Operations and Support, Client Services, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships will be key to driving the success of our dispute management business.

This role will be based out of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and will report directly to the Senior Director of Disputes and Payment Account Solutions at DPS.  (Other location options are Atlanta, GA and Austin, TX)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Leadership: Own and operate a multi-million dollar global business, Visa Dispute Management Service (VDMS).
  • Revenue Growth: Work with Account Executives, Specialized Sellers, Client Success Managers, Implementation Managers and other Product team members to drive revenue growth for Visa’s Value-Added Services business.
  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Manage product strategy, roadmap and prioritization to continually enhance “on behalf of” dispute management services with strong business cases and requirements.
  • Sales Training and Support: Perform sales training and participate in key client presentations to create new business opportunities and achieve revenue goals. Clearly articulate the value of the product and seek opportunities to connect client needs with product offerings. Participate in client business reviews, sales presentations and roadmap webinars to identify revenue growth and enhancement opportunities.
  • Go-to-Market Commercialization: Develop go-to-market strategies and plans for new markets, client segments and services.  Drive the execution of product launches and enhancements across all regions. Contribute to product positioning, messaging and client communications. Set direction for marketing and sales plans and help develop collateral and sales materials with go-to-market, sales enablement/engineering and marketing teams.
  • Product and Market Analysis: Drive efforts to measure and quantify product performance, client metrics and market opportunities.  Partner with finance, analytics, and research teams to execute client and market research.  Distill market research to inform strategic decisions and evangelize results to corporate-wide stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • 5+ years of product management experience launching, building, and growing financial services, technology or payments products
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) with advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of the payments industry (including payment processing, back-office operations and disputes)
  • Experience working with global and regional teams

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
