Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in internal strategy consulting projects and workstreams for internal clients in LAC.
- Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues. Build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visas many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development.
- Support the development of overall country strategies with a focus on innovation, new product design and M and A.
- Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.
- Work closely with cross functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support.
- Develop executive level communications. Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff and management in a clear, concise and impactful way.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
2 to 4 plus years total experience in management consulting or corporate strategy.
Experience in and or significant exposure to the payments industry.
Ability to develop content independently and prioritize workflow with limited supervision, to manage projects.
Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently and ability to adapt to changes in priorities quickly.
Ability to participate in complex cross enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling.
Experience working with economic theories, scenario analysis, and competitive assessments. Knowledge of payment industry revenue drivers a plus.
Commitment to continuous training and improvement of employees throughout the corporate strategy function.
Self starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
Bilingual English Spanish required, Portuguese a plus.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 143,700.00 to 230,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
