Job Description

The Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) team provides risk management services for banks, merchants, and other payment networks. Machine learning and AI models are the heart of the real-time insights used by our clients to manage risk. Created by the Visa Predictive Models (VPM) team, continual improvement and efficient deployment of these models is essential for our future success. To support our rapidly growing suite of predictive models we are looking for engineers who are passionate about managing large volumes of data, creating efficient, automated processes and standardizing ML/AI tools.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 years hands-on expertise with Python.
• Working with one or more of the following database technologies: DB2, MySQL and NoSQL data warehouses such as HBase.
• Strong technology problem-solving skills.
• Having worked in back-end application development to deployment.
• Willingness to contribute to handling system upgrades.
• Willingness to support production application.
• Willingness to support over weekend when required.
• Experience in working with distributed computing systems.
• Proficient in one or more scripting languages: Unix Shell, power shell etc.
• Willing to go extra mile and strong communication skills.
• Willing to learn new technologies and doing proof of concepts.

Additional Qualifications (good to have):

• Having knowledge on big data systems like Apache spark, Hadoop, hive.
• Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as Angular is a plus.
• Working with AWS environment.
• Having knowledge in Gen AI technologies.
• Having knowledge in Airflow.
• Having experience in building MLOPs solutions.
• Having experience in Machine learning model building.
• Having experience working with MLFlow.
• Having experience in working with environments like Triton or Tensor RT.
