Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Sourcing & Pipeline Management
- Lead the end-to-end sourcing strategy for new merchant partnerships across travel, lifestyle, dining, entertainment, mobility, and digital services.
- Identify opportunities based on consumer expectations, issuer feedback, and market trends.
- Build and maintain a robust partnership pipeline to meet annual Premium deliverables.
Negotiation & Contracting
- Own end‑to‑end negotiations with merchants and digital platforms to secure exclusive, high‑impact benefits.
- Drive commercial discussions, partnership modelling, legal processes, and due‑diligence steps.
- Ensure all deals align with Visa’s Premium strategy, value proposition, and compliance requirements.
- Provide input for business reviews with clear KPIs and partnership insights.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in partnership development, business development, strategic alliances, or similar commercial roles.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and negotiating partnerships.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into commercially viable value propositions.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of digital commerce, partnership economics, and profitability drivers.
- Comfortable navigating complex, multi‑stakeholder environments in fast‑moving contexts.
- This role sits within Visa’s Affluent (Premium) team and is dedicated to sourcing, negotiating, and securing high‑value merchant partnerships that enhance Visa’s Premium value proposition.
- You will lead the identification, outreach, negotiation, and contracting of top‑tier partners to deliver exclusive benefits—such as free subscriptions, unique experiences, and high‑impact discounts—for Premium cardholders.
- This is a senior role requiring strong deal‑making expertise and the ability to manage complex relationships with merchants.
