Job Description

Team Summary

The Digital Partnership Account Executive (AE) team in Seoul is a key driver of Visa’s engagement with Korea’s fast-evolving digital ecosystem. We manage strategic relationships with fintechs, bigtechs, and platform players, enabling innovation and growth in digital payments.

 

What a Senior Manager, Digital Partnership AE does at Visa:

This role is responsible for managing and growing strategic partnerships with digital-first clients, including fintechs, digital banks, and bigtech platforms. The Senior Manager will:

  • Lead joint business planning and execution with partners to drive mutual growth.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities aligned with Visa’s strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Consulting & Analytics, Finance, and other teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Represent Visa in client meetings and provide market insights and thought leadership to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives such as product launches, cross-border marketing campaigns, and digital transformation projects.

Qualifications

What you will need:

 

  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant business experience in account management, business development, or partnerships within the payments, fintech, or digital ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of Korea’s digital payments landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Fluent in Korean and proficient in English.

 

What will also help:

 

  • Experience working with global teams or in a multinational organization.
  • Familiarity with Visa’s products, services, and partner ecosystem.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies such as open banking, digital identity, or blockchain.
