Job Description

What we expect of you day to day

  • Develop and own the regional consumer strategy, including product positioning, market expansion plans, and multi‑year growth priorities.
  • Collaborate with generalist AEs to lead business development with issuers, neobanks, and fintech partners, shaping joint value propositions, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving revenue outcomes.
  • Own commercial outcomes: build pipeline of core and benefits opportunities, support pricing and contract negotiations through deal closure
  • Work cross-functionally to respond to RFPs and deliver client pitches
  • Oversee the product roadmap for consumer solutions (credit, affluent, benefits, loyalty), ensuring alignment with market needs and Visa’s global strategy.
  • Collaborate with regional and global cross‑functional teams (marketing, risk, product, legal, finance) to deliver launches and optimize performance across FR/BE/LU markets.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to inform product evolution and strategic recommendations.
  • Represent Visa externally, serving as a subject‑matter expert for consumer payments in the region.

Qualifications

We’re after a candidate that has experience in the following areas:

  • Extensive experience in payments, banking, fintech, or consumer financial products, with leadership roles spanning business development or product strategy.
  • Strong track record of commercial success, including partnership development, deal structuring, and revenue growth.
  • Expertise in consumer payments ecosystems—card issuing, digital wallets, embedded finance, loyalty, and value‑added services.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, comfortable with market sizing, competitive analysis, financial modelling, and product prioritization.
  • Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills, with experience influencing senior external partners and internal executives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute complex initiatives across multiple countries or business units.
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Experience as a general manager or management consultant strong plus.
