Job Description
Our Sales function is responsible for driving sales and development across the business in our markets. By building deep partnerships with our clients and offering creative solutions, we are at the forefront of protecting and growing Visa’s brand and market share.
For this strategic role, we are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join the team managing a key strategic client in Spain, providing business and technical knowledge of payment processes and associated products.
What we expect of you, day to day:
Serve as the connector between technology, payment operations and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Develop collaborative relationships with multiple internal and external partners and work with them to deliver growth by identifying needs, threats, and opportunities for both the client and Visa.
Analyse client data and understand client needs to develop relevant solutions and ensure excellent service and support for the client. Stay ahead of industry trends and use your knowledge to help our client adapt and stay ahead of the changes.
Establish a solid engagement with key senior stakeholders adapting flexibly to very different contexts of conducting business and relationships.
Establish strong internal partnerships with functions across Visa to ensure the right parts of the business are appropriately involved and informed about client needs fostering a collaboratively environment working together as “One Visa”.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Over 8+ years’ experience in sales management, commercial or business development, consultative sales, partnerships or key account management, in a context of leading international organisations. A consistent track record of delivering against objectives with proven experience to successfully manage the full commercial cycle.
Strong hybrid skill set: combines deep technical knowledge of payment solutions (APIs, integrations) with exceptional sales and relationship-building abilities. Able to translate complex product details into clear business value
Experience managing strategic accounts at top-tier financial organizations, with high standards and long-term partnerships.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships, coordinate sophisticated plans and initiatives, as well as working with senior leaders and other experts across geographies and functions.
Experience in working for large, international matrix organisations.
Experience and track record managing to stretch targets and a P&L
Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal. Catalan optional
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
