Job Description
To support the Open Finance Sales team by providing deep technical and business expertise in payment initiation services via Visa Conecta, with a strong focus on Pix-based transactions. This role requires close collaboration with regional sales, product, operations, and client integration teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of Visa’s Open Finance solutions.
You will deliver technical consultancy throughout the sales lifecycle, including solution design, feasibility validation, and implementation planning for different type of Clients. The scope includes supporting new and existing clients using Visa Conecta’s APIs and services for secure, compliant, and scalable payment initiation.
Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise & Product Mastery

Develop deep subject matter expertise in Visa Conecta’s Open Finance APIs and payment initiation flows.
Conduct hands-on testing, product analysis, and integration simulations to support client engagements.
Stay current with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Open Finance Brazil), Pix infrastructure, and Visa’s evolving product suite.
Sales Enablement & Pre-Sales Support
Support RFPs, solution demonstrations, whiteboarding sessions, and feasibility assessments.
Translate business requirements into solutions aligned with Visa Conecta’s capabilities.
Collaborate with sales to drive net-new and upsell opportunities across strategic accounts.
Client Implementation & Delivery
Ensure timely and successful go-live of payment initiation services, contributing to in-year revenue and transaction volume.
Provide post-sales technical support and optimization guidance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with product, engineering, legal, and compliance teams to align client needs with Visa’s Open Finance roadmap.
Participate in beta programs and strategic initiatives to launch new features and services.
Training & Documentation
Deliver client training sessions (virtual or in-person) on Visa Conecta’s products and integration models.
Produce clear, client-facing documentation for business and technical stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
10+ years of experience in financial services or fintech, with at least 5 years in sales leadership.
Proven track record of selling payment or Open Finance solutions in Brazil.
Strong understanding of Pix, payment initiation, and Open Finance infrastructure.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with BACEN regulations and Open Finance APIs.
Established network within the financial ecosystem (banks, PSPs, fintechs).
Multilingual (Portuguese and English required Spanish is a plus).
