Job Description
The Analyst will support and drive business development initiatives for a top client in Latin America & the Caribbean, with a focus on commercial growth, sales execution, and deepening strategic relationships. This role serves as a core partner to the client, responsible for identifying revenue opportunities, strengthening Visa’s positioning, and accelerating market penetration through consultative selling, strategic account management, and cross functional coordination.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate strategic business development efforts with client's regional and local teams, strengthening the partnership and driving sustainable commercial growth.
- Develop and execute client centric strategies that:
- Increase payment volumes and revenue for Visa and the client.
- Improve client satisfaction through impactful, measurable commercial solutions.
- Drive adoption in priority segments such as Affluent, SMB, Digital Commerce, Cross Border, and Authorization/Approval optimization.
- Monitor client performance against contractual commitments and business objectives, ensuring proactive tracking, risk identification, and course correction to keep initiatives on track.
- Prepare high quality client facing materials for QBRs, Steering Committees, and executive presentations aligned with regional governance frameworks.
- Identify new business opportunities by positioning Visa products, solutions, data, and value-added services in alignment with client's priorities, helping accelerate mutual commercial impact.
- Engage regularly with senior client stakeholders to understand strategic goals, influence product roadmaps, and identify upsell and cross sell opportunities across Visa’s solutions.
- Collaborate cross functionally (Product, Marketing, Consulting, Risk, Analytics, and Sales Operations) to design and deliver commercially compelling proposals tailored to business needs, ensuring operational alignment and value realization.
- Coordinate internal subject matter experts to support client pursuits, maintain alignment on commercial priorities, and ensure shared understanding of client strategy and market dynamics.
- Monitor and analyze client KPIs and market performance to identify opportunities for volume growth, stronger product penetration, enhanced digital engagement, and improved operational performance.
- Support deal structuring and execution, working closely with finance and legal teams to ensure proposals are commercially sound, compliant, and aligned with Visa’s financial objectives.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing commercial strategies and managing high‑value client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills to identify commercial opportunities using business data and performance trends.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of driving impactful commercial outcomes.
- Excellent organizational ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and commercial pursuits.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and preparing executive‑level presentations.
- High level of self‑motivation with a proactive sales mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Solid understanding of the financial services industry and electronic payments (preferred).
- Fluency in English (professional level) and native Spanish.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 93,200.00 to 144,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
