Job Description

Economies around the globe are moving towards Real Time Payments (RTP), bringing substantial innovation and modernization to payments. There is an increasing demand for the provision of real-time payment services across every region of the world, adding trillions of dollars in payments volume globally on an annual basis. To drive successful adoption, RTP infrastructures are supported by value added services across the entire payments value chain and all use cases – this is where Visa comes in.

The product team is responsible for taking ideas through the entire product lifespan from concept to market, all while leveraging Visa’s global infrastructure, technology, and experience as a leader in global payments.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join Visa’s Payments Proposition team within Bank and Issuing Risk Solutions. This role focuses on building and scaling AI‑driven products that help financial institutions detect and prevent fraud and scams in real‑time payments.

You will take products from ideation through to live service, working closely with ML experts, engineers, regional sales teams, and clients to deliver commercially successful solutions at global scale.

What you will do 

As a Product Manager, you will:

  • Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for one or more real‑time payments fraud & scam prevention products, from concept through launch and scale
  • Act as the voice of the customer, translating client, market, and regulatory needs into clear product requirements and priorities
  • Define and drive product strategy and go‑to‑market plans for assigned regions, in close partnership with regional sales and market teams
  • Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and technology teams to design and deliver AI‑driven capabilities
  • Lead the rapid design, build, and deployment of new product features and services
  • Support client engagements, including product pitches, demos, pilots, and live deployments
  • Partner with commercial and delivery teams to activate markets, onboard clients, and ensure successful adoption
  • Balance product vision, delivery, and commercial outcomes, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and market‑ready

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong background in commercialization, growth and go-to-market
  • Preferred background in product management for advanced analytics products in Financial Services, encompassing client facing delivery experience.
  • Experience working in Financial Crime and/or Payments within the Financial Services industry.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of success in fast-paced, agile environments with demanding timelines.
  • Experience in designing and taking products to market that use complex modelling techniques (inc. AI/ML).
  • Passion for innovating and delivering truly differentiated products & user experiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interface across levels, regions, cultures, and languages, and engage successfully with both specialist teams and broader business partners.
  • Strong ability to consume complex data and information, develop insights and create impactful stories.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic planning, drive change management.
  • Ability to lead executive messaging.
