Job Description
Visa is seeking a Director of Product Delivery to join the Visa Direct organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of new products and features, ensuring initiatives are executed on time, to high quality standards, and in alignment with Visa’s broader strategic objectives. The Director will lead a team of experienced Product Delivery professionals, serving as a key voice at the leadership table and championing best practices in delivery performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence at scale.
What we expect of you, day to day:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional delivery efforts for new product launches and enhancements across Visa Direct, ensuring successful execution from concept to market.
- Provide leadership and coaching to a team of product delivery professionals, ensure they are equipped with the tools, guidance, and support needed to succeed.
- Partner with senior business leaders to align on delivery priorities and communicate key milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders and external partners/clients.
- Contribute to longer-term planning and ensure delivery plans align with product strategic roadmaps.
- Establish and maintain governance, reporting and escalation mechanisms for delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Develop and monitor delivery metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and foster a culture of continuous delivery excellence.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and share best practices to help scale delivery frameworks and processes across Visa Direct.
- Collaborate closely with product leads, technology leads, operations, compliance, and legal teams to identify dependencies, remove blockers, and drive execution.
- Proactively identify and mitigate broader business, regulatory, or reputational risks tied to product delivery.
- Support resource planning and readiness activities for global rollouts.
- Own delivery-related budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for teams within their remit.
- Oversee third-party vendors or delivery partners where applicable, ensuring contractual and delivery expectations are met.
- Champion Visa’s values and culture while developing talent and fostering an inclusive, high-performing team environment.

Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Knowledge of real-time payments, B2B/B2C payment systems, or value-added services within the financial ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or scaled Agile frameworks, and delivery best practices in technology-led environments.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale products or solutions in a matrixed, global organization.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify delivery risks early and propose effective solutions.
- Strong ownership mindset - proactive, accountable, and driven to overcome challenges.
- Strategic yet detail-oriented - able to align execution with long-term vision.

Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 207,500.00 to 301,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
