Job Description
This is an exciting time to join Visa's U.S. Community Client Marketing team, as we strengthen our focus on deepening relationships with established Issuers and seek opportunities with new Clients.
The Marketing Manager, Business Development, for U.S. Client Marketing Community Issuers will support the development and sell-in of client programs that optimize the use of Visa marketing platforms and initiatives.
The U.S. Client Marketing team, part of the overall North America Marketing organization, is transforming how we partner with clients to drive engagement, through a proactive and results driven marketing approach. As part of the U.S. Client Marketing team, the Marketing Manager, Business Development, will be responsible for prospecting, pricing, and selling in marketing solutions for Visa’s issuers, while also working closely with the Marketing Delivery team on oversight of program execution and management. The Marketing Manager, Business Development will engage with teams across Visa and its clients to deliver thought leadership advisory services and oversight of execution of marketing programs to help grow our clients’ payment card business and drive incremental client and Visa revenue.
You will be responsible for planning marketing strategies and partnership initiatives to grow Visa’s business with Visa’s clients, through the activation of Visa marketing analyses, platforms and initiatives and strategic use of sponsorship assets. This Manager is responsible for building partnership relationships with the cross functional team, including Sales, Product, Marketing, Visa Consulting & Analytics, and agencies to deliver best-in-class marketing plans that drive business goals for both Visa and its clients.
This Manager must be able to thrive in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment. You are results-oriented and adaptable with a can do, positive attitude. Additionally, you have a strong track record in working collaboratively and independently with internal team members and external clients.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Strong executive presence and comfort leading discussions with clients
- Strong analytical skills and feel comfortable translating data into marketing strategy
- Team player with experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that included a high level of detail and ability to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
- Self-motivated and proactive in asking questions and proposing solutions
- Strong process orientation. Able to create processes from scratch and able to identify and drive continuous improvements
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You’re comfortable managing spreadsheets, devising formulas, creating pivot tables, and performing data analysis, while also building executive and client presentations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. You create visually clear, concise, and insightful work product and are comfortable presenting to senior leaders
- A relationship builder who earns the trust and rapport of partners at multiple levels
- Proven ability to thrive in high pressure situations and a fast paced and matrixed environment
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and quick to adapt to shifting priorities
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 134,600.00 to 215,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
