Job Description
The Visa Consulting and Analytics team is looking for a high-performance individual to join the team and play a key role in developing and delivering high impact projects across the Andean region. The potential candidate will support engagements with Visa Clients, by developing, delivering and implementing projects and solutions on behalf of issuers, acquirers and merchants. The ideal candidate will support initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner. This role will also have a strategic mandate to lead the implementation, usage, and organizational adoption of Gen AI–based agents and solutions. The candidate will work closely with VCA and cross‑functional teams to identify use cases, integrate AI‑powered tools into consulting processes, elevate productivity, and enable a culture of innovation fueled by artificial intelligence.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver equipped with strong analytical, quantitative, and technical skills able to translate insights into large‑scale, state‑of‑the‑art solutions and passionate about leveraging emerging technologies—especially Gen AI—to drive impact for Visa and its clients.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Consulting & Client Impact:
- Develop, structure, and execute high‑impact consulting engagements for issuers, acquirers, and merchants.
- Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations aligned with clients’ strategic priorities.
- Identify relevant market trends and payment industry dynamics to enrich client engagements and VCA solutions.
- Communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Gen AI Strategy, Implementation & Adoption:
- Lead the strategic definition, deployment, and scaling of Gen AI agents and solutions within VCA and across broader business teams.
- Identify and prioritize high‑value Gen AI and automation use cases across consulting workflows, client deliverables, and operational processes.

- Serve as the internal champion for AI adoption: train teams, run demos, build capability decks, and influence organizational readiness.
- Oversee the lifecycle of AI agents (ideation → pilot → deployment → monitoring → enhancement).
- Ensure all AI initiatives adhere to best practices in model governance, security, responsible AI and data protection.
- Build reusable Gen AI assets, prompts, frameworks, and accelerators for VCA and Visa’s clients.
Advanced Analytics, Data Engineering & Machine Learning:
- Work with large volumes of data, extracting and manipulating datasets using Hadoop Ecosystem, Python, PySpark, Presto, SQL, and related tools.
- Apply hands‑on skills in cleansing, wrangling, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets.
- Parse, aggregate, and transform messy, incomplete, or unstructured data into high‑quality analytical datasets.
- Develop, validate, and optimize data mining algorithms, advanced statistical techniques, and machine learning models.
