Job Description

Visa is looking for a results-driven, tech-curious Business Development Executive with a passion for value-based solution selling. In this role, you will be at the forefront of new client acquisition and prospecting strategy, playing a pivotal role in expanding Visa's market footprint in the LAC region. Your mission: scout, onboard, and establish strong partnerships with new accounts by showcasing the unparalleled benefits of Visa's solutions. Qualified candidates will possess a proven track record of building strong internal and external relationships and a relentless drive to excel in sales.

Key functions:

  • Lead prospecting strategies and new client acquisition activities.
  • Lead new client acquisition, onboarding and transition to Account Executives following Visa's client graduation model.
  • Foster productive relationships with key stakeholders at new client organizations and within Visa.
  • Own new sales opportunities, including negotiation and deal closing, across various geographies as needed.
  • Actively monitor client riggers that indicate potential opportunities to displace competitors.
  • Identify new sales and revenue generation opportunities.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the payments landscape and technology solutions to implement proactive strategies to grow Visa's business.
  • Develop understanding of the broad range of Visa solutions and their value proposition.
  • Provide industry-relevant business insights to guide marketing and product development.
  • Contribute to the development of the functional sales strategy.
  • Manage new client pipeline and prospecting strategy.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training activities.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 7-10 years of work experience and a bachelor's degree or
  • 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of experience with a PhD.
  • 3 to 5 years Payments and / or sales business experience
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to learn and execute effectives sales strategies for new payment products and services
  • Ability to develop, lead and close complex competitive sales efforts.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives with efficiency, professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting/problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate agreements and contracts effectively, ensuring favorable terms and successful outcomes.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations specific to the industry, ensuring compliance and informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence and ability to effectively create and deliver presentations to all audiences up to the executive levels
  • Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross functional relationships
  • Ability to negotiate business agreements and enhance existing and new relationships
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making.
