Job Description

The Manager, Account Executive will lead strategic account management and sales initiatives, ensuring alignment between client objectives and Visa’s business goals. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive growth through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic clients.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead negotiations and pricing discussions for complex deals.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to Visa’s compliance standards (AML, KYC).
  • Monitor regulatory changes impacting client operations.

Solution Promotion:

  • Drive adoption of Visa products (Visa Direct, VAA, VRM, VCAS).
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, MBA preferred.
Experience in sales and account management, ideally in financial services or payments.
Proven success in managing strategic accounts and leading teams.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and commercial strategy expertise.
Data-driven decision-making and familiarity with analytics tools.
Excellent communication, influence, and storytelling skills.
Leadership qualities: adaptability, collaboration, and innovation mindset.
Preferred Certifications:
Sales Leadership or Account Management certifications.
PMP or similar project management certification.
KPIs & Success Metrics
Revenue growth and portfolio optimization.
Client satisfaction and retention scores.
Adoption of Visa solutions and innovation initiatives.
Compliance adherence and risk mitigation.
