Job Description
The Implementation Analyst is a client‑facing, individual contributor role responsible for managing implementation, configuration, and change activities of moderate to high complexity. This role partners closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver new card programs, conversions, and ongoing maintenance with minimal customer impact. The position requires strong analytical skills, disciplined execution, and the ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment in complex situations. The Implementation Analyst also proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and increase team efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end‑to‑end implementation and configuration support for Visa clients within an assigned market, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate directly with clients to understand card program requirements, supporting new program implementations, conversions, and maintenance activities while minimizing operational risk and customer impact.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in implementation activities from a technical and/or operational perspective, providing guidance on configuration options and impacts.
- Manage non‑routine and complex processing and change requests, including analysis, documentation, execution, and validation.
- Partner with clients to identify opportunities that improve program performance and provide education on Visa products, services, and operational best practices.
- Analyze and trend internal and external data to identify process improvement opportunities, and present recommendations for adoption within the department.
- Serve as a lead analyst on internal and/or client initiatives, applying best practices, lessons learned, and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Assess operational processes to identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and implementation documentation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Visa clients and internal partners, including technology, operations, and product teams.
- Represent client system and operational requirements to internal Visa organizations, ensuring alignment and successful delivery.
- Coordinate internal Visa resources to meet project commitments and resolve issues efficiently.
- Report client project progress, accomplishments, and deliverables to management on a regular basis.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and, when appropriate, external clients.
- Proactively recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
5+ years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or
2+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA), or
0 years of experience with a PhD.
