Job Description
Are you passionate about connecting people strategy to business outcomes? The People Analytics and Workforce Planning team helps the business thrive by driving data‑based decisions on Visa’s most important asset, our people. As part of the Consulting Insights and Analytics organization, you will help strengthen the capacity, capabilities, and connectivity needed to enable data‑empowered decisions and seamless experiences across the employee lifecycle.
As an Associate, Consulting Insights, Analytics & Enablement, you will support Visa’s people strategy by contributing to supply and demand analysis, workforce insights, and operational reporting that guide decisions optimizing our workforce. You will also support People 2030 initiatives, product enablement efforts, and day‑to‑day data governance activities that help maintain trusted People data and consistent terminology across Visa. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners, assist with team‑wide programs, and contribute to analytics and data operations that advance Visa’s long‑term People strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and analyze workforce reports for partners across the business, including People Business Partners, Workforce Planners, Inclusion and Diversity, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Finance. Deliver accurate, high‑quality outputs with strong attention to detail and effective time management.
Investigate and resolve data issues across people data sources such as Workday, PowerBI, Tableau, and Qualtrics. Ask clarifying questions when needed and bring forward thoughtful solution options with a recommended approach.
Manage portfolio of assigned data deliverables with attention to detail, urgency, and proactive communication. Provide timely updates, monitor responsibilities closely, and escalate risks or bottlenecks early. Work closely with the Senior Manager, Analysts, and Workforce Planning Leads to support the development of consistent, data‑driven insights.
Support partners and clients by assisting with data literacy activities such as basic trainings, demos, and user support. Help encourage adoption of people analytics tools and dashboards and share user feedback to enhance the overall experience.
Support day‑to‑day data governance operations by maintaining People data terminology, definitions, and metadata in the Visa Data Catalog. Ensure documentation remains accurate, consistent, and easy for teams to understand while assisting with communications, change management, and light project coordination to keep the program running smoothly.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 or more years of work experience, or an Advanced Degree with 2 or more years of work experience.
- Data‑centric education preferred, including Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Industrial‑Organizational Psychology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience working with Workday, recruiting systems, or other enterprise HR platforms for data entry, reporting, or analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with Excel for data analysis and the ability to create clear visualizations and presentations that support decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non‑technical stakeholders and adjust messaging based on audience needs.
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and balance multiple asks in an environment with shifting priorities and some ambiguity.
- Openness to feedback and willingness to adjust work based on input, while maintaining a positive, solution‑oriented approach.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute to team outcomes by listening actively, coordinating tasks, and building strong relationships across diverse partners.
- Curiosity, a growth mindset, and the willingness to learn new tools and concepts as needs evolve, with familiarity in PowerBI, Power Automate, or PowerApps considered a bonus.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 66,000 to 109,400 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
