Job Description

Commercial and Corporate Banking and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) represent a key strategic growth area for Visa, as it expands beyond core consumer card payments (C2B) and into broader money movement flows among individuals, businesses, and governments. The investments that Visa has made over decades in C2B have provided Visa with the infrastructure, technical capability, brand, expertise, and relationships to tap into money movement between a much broader coupling of counterparties (B2B, B2b, B2C, P2P, G2C, G2B, etc.). CMS is built on three pillars: Commercial Solutions, Money Movement, and Government Sales.

The Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) team seeks a Senior Director to lead our CMS Advisory Practice and play a role developing and delivering high-impact projects for Visa’s clients in CEMEA. CMS Advisory Practice lead will drive the ambitious growth of VCA CMS practice area in terms of product development and thought leadership cooperating with other Visa CEMEA functions and with other Visa global regions. He will also deliver subject matter expertise and consulting support to VISA key clients across the CEMEA region. The main objective of the role is to help deepen client relationships and optimize client performance by helping them design and assess their strategy, implement initiatives around their payments and channels and in general capture the full potential from CMS.

Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area:

  • Drive the growth and scaling of the Commercial and Money Movement Practice in terms of:
  • Develop and codify new advisory offerings
  • Design the appropriate go to market strategy
  • Identify areas of synergies and joint commercial development with Visa CMS Product and Solutions function
  • Inject GenAI knowledge and tools aimed at driving the commercial appeal of CMS advisory offering and improving the delivery efficiency for the team
  • Drive thought leaderships including white papers development and participant to Visa and industry events
  • Liaise with global counterparts to ensure the sharing of best practices and experiences
  • Partner with Visa Implementation Services to enrich offering with implementation and Tech advisory services
  • Liaise with Visa Intelligence and Data Solutions team with the objective of developing data driven and CMS related data solutions
  • Proactively engage Visa and VCA leaders in regular strategic & planning discussions with the objective of cultivating and managing a pipeline of work related to CMS
  • Directly support Visa’s business development and CMS teams in developing client partnership pitches and proposals.
  • Lead selected CMS advisory projects, resolving complex strategic problems and managing complex project structures when required.
  • Work closely with other VISA groups, including cooperation with CMS team, VAS, Products, Marketing etc., to ensure a seamless Consulting experience.
  • Become a CEMEA point of reference for industry and strategic trends related to corporate banking and money movement, including emerging opportunities on stablecoin.
  • Where appropriate, deliver and manage a network of external Consultants for projects that require external support and:
  • Maintain excellent liaison and supervision of external consultants' deliveries.
  • Assist in selecting, recruiting, inducting and training external consulting firms or other vendors.
  • Work with other teams and external consultants to develop new and improved tools and techniques for future consulting activities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
At least 12 years of overall work experience including significant and mandatory consulting experience in a top Strategy or Management Consulting Firm.
A well qualified candidate will have broad and deep expertise in strategic and management consulting with focus on Commercial and Corporate banking as well as Money Movement and Remittances with primary focus, but not limited to, on segment or payments strategy and transformation, solution design, go to market strategy, portfolio acceleration, GenAI transformation, customer experience, knowledge of payments and digital channels, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
At least 5 years of solid experience in the sphere of Corporate Banking or Money Movement or Payments in general. Experience should be gained within a top-tier either financial institution or consulting firm
Solid consulting skills and client engagement capabilities, including advanced client contact, public speaking skills and advanced skills in using Excel and Power point
Combination of regional and global experience is also desired, previous work experience across multiple CEMEA sub-regions (Middle East, Ukraine, CIS, Southeastern Europe, Africa) would be a differentiating factor
Strong track record of delivering complex strategy projects for large clients and leading strategy engagements end to end
Proficiency with Generative and Agentic AI in terms of trends, use cases, and personal use of the tools is required
Diplomatic skills to work in a multi functional environment and ability to extract desired outcomes
Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients and VISA
Relationship management skills, should be able to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels
Results driven, flexible and both internally and externally customer focused.
Self motivated and able to use own initiative with limited direction
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter disciplinary groups
Ability to work in a multi cultural environment
Fluency in English is mandatory, Fluency in Arabic or Russian is a plus
