Visa is seeking a passionate, authentic, dynamic and results-oriented leader to join the Finance Systems Strategy (FSS) team as the Manager, Project Costing Systems. FSS is responsible for driving changes to Finance technology and tools and is currently working directly with the Finance Leadership team to design the future architecture and drive the Finance Technology modernization roadmap.
Visa has established a Finance Velocity Office (FVO) to build a foundation that supports the growth and complexity of our business and improves the day-to-day interactions of our Finance teams. FSS team is working tightly with the broader FVO to implement technology to achieve meaningful, sustainable change and enable long-term growth.
The role involves collaborating with key stakeholders across Finance, IT and the broader business to understand needs, identify opportunities to develop and execute on to accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function.

Essential Functions:
- Support translating finance vision for the future into a world-class technology end-state architecture.
- Lead development and execution of major initiatives in the Project Costing space for Finance.
- Develop requirements for Project Costing systems, manage delivery in close collaboration with IT, conduct user acceptance testing and client adoption
- Manage work in an agile environment with Jira as the tool, provide accurate and transparent updates to leadership, highlighting risks/issues with appropriate mitigation and remediation plans.
- Work successfully in a matrixed environment, with an ability to influence without authority and instead use subject matter expertise and facts.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 3 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing finance transformation initiatives
- Experience with all phases of Technology implementation lifecycle.
- Organizational, problem-solving skills, and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Strong conceptual, analytical and process mapping skills are required
- Should be able to work with offshore resources spread out globally
- Ability to communicate and work directly with business leaders across Finance and Technology
- Independent judgment and mature decision-making skills to work on projects that often have enterprise-wide scope and may have significant financial and compliance impacts
- Strong understanding of project accounting, cost allocation, forecasting, and capital/operational expense management
- Solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven Track record in managing Project Costing system implementations and upgrades (e.g. Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP S/4 HANA, Workday, Planview, Planisware or equivalent)
- Experience with ERP governance frameworks, data integrity and compliance requirements (e.g. SOX)
- Experience with applying Agile methodology in projects
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and change management skills
