Job Description
Visa is seeking an experienced leader with an outstanding commercialization track record to drive the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for Visa Direct. Visa Direct is a suite of solutions that facilitates money movement across cards, accounts, and wallets, addressing a variety of use cases such as P2P, B2B, and B2C. This is a rare opportunity to be part of building a new ecosystem in the fast-moving world of payments, which represents one of the primary growth pillars for Visa's CEMEA business.
This hub-based leadership role will report to the Head of GTM and Commercialization and will lead initiatives focused on regionalizing solutions, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy for Visa Direct solutions. The role requires a unique combination of deep expertise in money movement, particularly domestic solutions (across RTP, Mobile Money, and push-to-card payments), alongside knowledge of the emerging digital financial ecosystems, including stablecoins.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in money movement solutions in domestic and cross-border, developing and executing Go-To-Market strategies, project and product management, business analysis, with a proven track record of driving product commercialization in highly regulated markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Go-to-Market and Commercialization: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans for Visa Direct. This includes but not limited to market sizing, defining pricing strategies, creating product narratives, identifying distribution channels, and building product awareness and usage. You will lead the definition of market plans with a specific focus on target markets and solutions.
- Strategy Implementation: As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for implementing GTM strategy, working closely with regional Visa Direct leads. This involves close cooperation with regional sales teams, influencing product development working with the global teams, and improving value proposition and experience of VD CEMEA clients. You will develop the knowledge base for new solutions, customize them for local markets, and establish industry’s best practices.
- Business Analysis and Project Management: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder product rollouts with tight deadlines and executive accountability. You will manage interrelated project tasks and deadlines to ensure successful execution.
- Client Interaction: Act as a subject matter expert in client pitches and sales cycles, helping to drive the execution of critical product launches with partners, financial institutions, and merchants.
- Stakeholder Management: Thrive in an environment with multiple stakeholder interactions and tight deadlines. You will lead product-related tasks and work closely with various teams to meet associated deadlines and objectives.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
Must have deep and extensive knowledge of domestic and cross-border money movement solutions, with specific expertise in domestic solutions and stable coin operations.
Strong knowledge of the digital asset landscape, including stable coins and cryptocurrencies, is highly important.
Expert-level product management experience, with strong analytical skills to identify gaps in the current product offering and develop solutions that drive business value.
Demonstrated experience in cross-border money movement and remittance operations, including foreign exchange (FX) rates.
Strong acumen in product commercialization, including experience developing a GTM strategy for a new line of business.
Experience managing regulatory requirements, KYC, and compliance processes. Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Payments Risk & Fraud, and Sanction Screening is desirable.
Culturally aware, with experience working across global and regional teams.
