Team Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.
Within VCA exists VCA Implementation Services (VIS), a hands-on execution partner, implementing, operating, and optimizing Visa products in client environments to accelerate activation, portfolio growth, risk control, and data-driven performance.
Job Description
- Establish and continuously refine vendor management standards, governance frameworks, and operational best practices for the VCA LAC region.
- Drive efficiency in vendor selection, onboarding, and performance management processes, ensuring alignment with Visa’s strategic objectives.
- Build and nurture strong, collaborative partnerships with key vendors, fostering mutual growth and innovation.
- Prioritize and oversee the onboarding of new vendors, with a focus on accelerating time-to-value and ensuring compliance with regional and global requirements.
- Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities, especially those that enable the development of innovative solutions for clients and the business.
- Maintain a proactive view of the vendor landscape, with a particular emphasis on monitoring and engaging with vendors recognized as leaders in AI and emerging technologies.
- Lead initiatives to ensure the highest quality of work delivered by vendors, including the implementation of performance metrics, regular reviews, and continuous improvement programs.
- Develop and execute vendor strategy, including risk management, cost optimization, and value creation, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate connectivity and knowledge sharing among VIS subregions, ensuring best practices, lessons learned, and success stories are disseminated and adopted across the LAC region.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- +7 years of experience on payments / banking industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead regional initiatives and strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to measure financial impacts
- Entrepreneurial mindset energized by the possibility of building a new business
- Knowledge of the competitive environment across LAC
- Collaborative approach with internal and external partners
- Resilient in navigating through ambiguity and translating the theoretical to applicable
- Growth mindset that embraces creativity, optimism, and failing-fast
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,500.00 to 237,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
