Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director, Upskilling and Learning Innovation to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving learning for our Global VD Sales and Solutioning team. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Learning Strategy & Innovation
    • Develop and execute a forward-looking learning strategy aligned with business goals and workforce transformation.
    • Champion the use of AI and adaptive learning technologies to create sophisticated and optimized learning journeys.
  • Course Design & Development
    • Lead the design of high-impact learning programs using evidence-based instructional design methodologies.
    • Oversee the creation of digital, blended, and experiential learning formats tailored to diverse learner needs.
  • Technology & Tools Leadership

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage cutting-edge learning platforms and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Synthesia, LMS systems).
  • Integrate AI tools (e.g., generative AI, chatbots, recommendation engines) into learning workflows and content creation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with business leaders, and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and learning priorities.
    • Drive adoption and engagement through compelling communication, change management, and enablement strategies.
  • Measurement & Optimization
    • Define KPIs and success metrics for learning programs, use data analytics to assess impact and continuously improve.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure learning solutions remain innovative and relevant.
    • Craft performance scorecards that drive decisive actions, to ensure visibility and accountability across the organization.
  • This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications
    10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications
    12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

    Additional Information

    Work Authorization: Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

    Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

    Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,500 to 278,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
