  • The candidate will collaborate closely with Product Managers and GTM leads to structure GTM and/or product-specific analysis
  • The candidate will lead team and cluster Product & Solutions pipeline reviews together with the GTM team

What we expect of you, day to day:

  • Product Strategy and growth ambition: Lead the medium-term Product growth plan in the cluster, incl. identification of key growth levers, early mitigation plans for potential gaps, initiative tracking, and obtaining FBL buy-in.
  • Business planning and reporting: Be the cluster point person for Finance, Hub and FBL leadership for the Annual Operating Plan, on-going and future outlook, and coordinate FBL inputs.
  • Go-to-Market: Lead GTM initiatives and structure pipeline reviews
  • Execute with Excellence: Lead various operational activities, such as organizational reviews, governance processes, team and cluster-wide team forums
  • Squad Leadership: Play an active role in Visa’s Europe Product Squad model.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

We’re after a candidate that has experience in the following areas:

  • The candidate has a track record of successfully leading complex cross-functional strategic initiatives
  • Experience working in multi-layered and complex matrix organisations. The right candidate skilfully navigates through ambiguity, creates alignments by providing structure, and has a bias for action, using data-driven insights to take decisions.
  • Substantial experience leading Go-to-Market or strategic initiatives, with a deep understanding of the operating model of Product Hub/ Regional headquarter, account teams and cluster product, and the needs of PLT and FBLLT to obtain sponsorship.
  • Can drive alignments at senior leadership, requiring minimal supervision to craft storylines and run the required analyses. The Director understands when to proactively involve the FBLLT early and ensures initiatives have the right level of resourcing, funding, and executive support.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a varied workload where no two days are the same, and sees ambiguity as a chance to create structure and clarity rather than a challenge.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue models and product business cases, a general knowledge of Visa’s financial reporting tools, and a deep knowledge of the Product P&L, Scorecard, OKRs, and key business priorities.
  • Is seen as collaborative, diplomatic, flexible, yet assertive when needed, with the ability to drive complex topics to conclusion and to remove obstacles.
  • A strong sense of accountability and is highly organised to work on multiple initiatives, and client and product engagements at the same time.
  • Management consulting a strong plus
