As the Director of Product Marketing for Crypto and Stablecoin at Visa, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy for our innovative digital currency products. You will lead efforts to position our offerings in the market, drive go-to-market initiatives, and ensure alignment with our overall business objectives. Your strategic vision and expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our competitive edge and fostering growth in the rapidly evolving crypto and stablecoin landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies for crypto and stablecoin products. Collaborate with the executive team to align product marketing initiatives with the overall business strategy.

Market Research and Analysis: Collaborate with the insights team on market research projects. Analyze market data to inform product and marketing strategies.

Product Positioning and Messaging: Define and articulate product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with target audiences. Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing channels and materials.

Market Strategy & Planning: Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including the creation of launch plans, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement materials. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches

Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and social media content. Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and strategic objectives.

Sales Enablement: Provide the sales team with the necessary tools, sales collateral, presentations, and competitive analysis to support the sales process

Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory & compliance requirements, and best practices in the crypto and stablecoin markets. Partner with the Comms team on thought leadership content.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Bachelor’s degree required/MBA preferred
• 7+ years of progressively responsible business experience, mostly in product marketing or similar capacity, including bringing new products to market.
• Experience working in blockchain, crypto/web3 and stablecoins
• Strong strategic thinker with a results orientation who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency
• Audience-centric mindset, and an ability to simplify sophisticated concepts into impactful messaging for a diverse set of audiences
• Strong executive presence with highly effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present with impact
• Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 169,100.00 to 220,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
