Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, Fintechs, payment enablers and governments.
Job Description
As a Data Science Intern in Warsaw, you will support the client-facing Data Science Lab team in the European region for 11 weeks during summer. You will assist in developing and delivering analytics-driven strategies and solutions for Visa’s external clients. This internship offers hands-on experience in applying data science techniques to real-world business challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the design and implementation of data-driven solutions for Visa clients.
- Assisting in data preparation, analysis, and visualization to uncover insights.
- Learning and applying predictive modeling and machine learning techniques under guidance.
- Collaborating with VCA consultants and internal teams to understand business requirements.
- Participating in meetings and discussions to translate client needs into actionable analytics.
- Documenting methodologies and maintaining project records.
This role provides exposure to end-to-end project delivery, from gathering requirements to presenting insights that enable data-driven decisions.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assist in promoting data science solutions to solve business challenges.
- Support development of predictive models and machine learning applications.
- Analyze VisaNet data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project requirements.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for:
- Permanent right to work in Poland.
- Currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering) with expected graduation in 2027. Available for a summer internship starting in June or July 2026.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- Strong interest in data analytics and consulting.
- Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages.
- Basic understanding of SQL and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning concepts is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team environment.
