Job Description

We’re looking for an emerging Employee Communications professional with the right mix of creativity, project management and writing skills to support our team and partners to devise and execute multi-channel campaigns and initiatives that express our purpose-driven culture, uplift our people and attract top talent to Visa. This is a role supporting the Almaty Communications team.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience by working on important and high visibility initiatives 
  • Drive best-in-class communications, including but not limited to experiential, Technology collateral, social media and digital content (internal and external).
  • Assisting with the development of communication strategies to increase employee engagement and understanding of our technology initiatives.
  • Assisting with the creation and execution of communication campaigns 
  • Supporting the development of content for Town Hall meetings, including presentations, scripts, recognition and event logistics.
  • Collaborating with regional teams to ensure consistent and effective communication across various channels.
  • Assist with reporting and tracking metrics to ensure success and we are tracking against goals.  

Qualifications

  • Current student working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree, with a graduation date of December 2026 or summer 2027
  • Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Branding or a related discipline are welcome to apply
  • Available for the internship (June – August 2026)
  • Must be available to start a graduate role by June 2027
  • Excellent academic record
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience solving business cases
  • Strong in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Superior analytical and financial analysis skills
  • Strong collaboration skills with a diverse peer group required
  • Able to articulate viewpoint effectively to key stakeholders in order to get buy in and agreement
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
  • Interest in seeking and adopting current trends and best practices in employee communications.
  • A self-starter and resourceful problem solver.
  • Self-confident and hands-on, with the ability to operate in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment
