Job Description
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of client and partner implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regional requirements, and operational standards. This role plays a critical part in enabling market growth and supporting strategic initiatives in Colombia and the broader Andean and LATAM region.
Key responsibilities include managing end to end implementation activities, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of project milestones. The Consultant works closely with clients, processors, issuers, acquirers, and internal teams to identify requirements, resolve issues, and drive solutions that meet technical and business needs.
The role requires strong execution discipline, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed organization. The Implementation Consultant is expected to proactively identify risks, support issue resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of implementation processes, helping ensure high client satisfaction and sustainable market expansion.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Five or more years of experience in payments, financial services, technology consulting, or implementation and project delivery roles.
- Proven experience supporting client implementations, onboarding, or integrations within complex, multi stakeholder environments.
- Strong understanding of payment ecosystems including issuers, acquirers, processors, and network operations. Experience in the Colombian or Andean market is a strong plus.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in fast paced, client facing environments.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
- Experience working cross functionally with product, technology, operations, and sales teams.
- Fluency in Spanish and English required. Portuguese is a plus.
