Pay Transparency
The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is zł123,500 - zł202,925 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Pension, Life Insurance, Annual Leave, and Wellness Program.

Job Description

As a Financial Crime Investigations Analyst, you will play a key role in protecting Visa and its clients from financial crime risks. You will conduct risk-based investigations, monitor transactional activity, identify emerging threats, and help strengthen Visa's financial crime control environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and Network Partners, you will apply sound judgement and regulatory expertise to support compliance with AML, sanctions, and financial crime obligations while driving continuous improvement across monitoring and investigation processes.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract position

What we expect of you, day to day

  • Conduct risk-based investigations into high-risk transactions, customer activity, and potential financial crime risks.
  • Assess, document, and communicate investigation outcomes with clear, evidence-based rationale.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex alerts and cases, ensuring appropriate risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and assess AML, CTF, sanctions, fraud, and other financial crime risks, including emerging threats and regulatory developments.
  • Analyse transaction activity, alerts, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve monitoring effectiveness.
  • Support the enhancement and optimisation of transaction monitoring controls, rules, and processes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, clients, and Network Partners to support investigations, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to a strong compliance culture through continuous improvement, governance support, and adherence to Visa's Leadership Principles and Values.


Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Required skills and experience:
  • Experience in AML, financial crime, transaction monitoring, or compliance within financial services.
  • Experience in payments, fintech, banking, or related regulated sectors is required
  • Ability to work independently and quickly take ownership of responsibilities
  • A good understanding of AML, CTF, sanctions, fraud, and related financial crime risks.
  • Proven ability to investigate complex activity and make sound risk-based decisions.
  • Experience using transaction monitoring and case management systems.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and recommend control improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to document findings and engage stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • professional compliance qualifications are advantageous.
