Team Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.  VCA's core client segments include retail banks/issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

 

Job Description

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Lead consulting initiatives, address client inquiries and serve as the main contact point for clients and internal stakeholders

  • Manage multiple priorities across various workstreams and projects simultaneously.

  • Identify potential project opportunities with clients for future engagements

  • Support clients in designing/developing new digital value propositions and digital processes in payments and daily banking

  • Perform client-specific analysis on client portfolio data including proprietary information, such as customer demographics, activity, spend levels, behavioral scores, financial information, among others

  • Drive client engagements to increase activation and usage of (digital) cards and the overall daily banking customer life-time value (CLV)

  • Support clients in developing strategic and tactical responses to increasing digital fraud and cybersecurity risks

  • Participate in developing frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges

  • Join Visa internal teams in regular strategic & planning discussions to offer holistic Visa support to its clients

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that use the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources

 

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Germanic retail banking and/or payment (card) industry
  • Relevant experience in strategy or management consulting, with proven project deliveries and expertise in consulting and agile working methodologies
  • Solid and relevant academic record (e.g. Master Degree in Economics, Finance or similar)
  • Project experience in a digital and technology-driven environment
  • Technology, digitally-savy mindset and with an understanding of consumer economics and behaviour
  • High intellectual capability evidenced by strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fluency in English and German (must-have for client work)
  • Ability to partner and collaborate closely with other parts of the business (Product, Marketing, Account teams, etc.)
