Job Description
The Client Care Support role is responsible for providing operational and customer service support to clients within the payments industry. This position requires the ability to manage assignments of diverse scope and complexity, set priorities, and manage customer expectations both internally and externally. The role involves working as part of a team and independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, establish productive working relationships with staff and management at all levels, and deliver high-quality client support.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to payments and processing services.
- Manage assignments of diverse scope and complexity, requiring significant initiative and good judgment.
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with staff and management at all levels.
- Set priorities and manage customer expectations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of client needs.
- Support the implementation and ongoing support of market-specific products and services.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex client issues in the payments industry.
- Experience in managing projects using project management principles.
- Experience in establishing productive working relationships with staff and management at all levels.
- Experience in setting priorities and managing customer expectations.
- Experience in using Excel for data analysis.
- Experience in preparing professional presentations using PowerPoint.
- Experience in public speaking and delivering presentations.
- Experience in working both as part of a team and independently.
- Experience in bilingual communication (English and Spanish).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of work experience.
- Experience in roles such as Support, Pre-sales, and Project Management in the financial services, payment industry, software, or information services.
- Experience in client-facing accountability in the payments industry.
- Experience in bankcard operations, supporting highly complex clients and/or services.
- Experience in negotiating with and influencing clients and staff at the working level.
- Experience in working in a highly regulated financial environment.
