Job Description
The Analyst will be a key contributor to the Visa Commercial Solutions Strategy team. This team leads global strategic initiatives across Visa’s commercial (business to business payments) business—including small business and large corporate growth strategies, platform and fintech strategic engagement, go-to-market acceleration, exploration of emerging spaces, and M&A / venture opportunities.
This role is ideal for early-career talent with 2 years of strategy consulting experience or similar, strong analytical and communication skills, and a desire to learn and contribute quickly. The Analyst will receive guidance and supervision from senior team members while steadily growing autonomy and ownership.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic developments, supporting strategic analysis and recommendations.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic initiatives in collaboration with senior team members.
- Support cross-functional work across Regional and Functional teams by preparing materials, synthesizing insights, and coordinating workflows.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis with clear direction and oversight, helping translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to special projects including market sizing, strategic client engagements, business case development, and internal initiatives (e.g., employee engagement or leadership forums).
- Develop presentation materials and assist in communicating findings to business leaders at multiple levels.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, internal corporate strategy, or a similar analytical role.
- Exposure to the payments, financial services, or technology sectors is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured components.
- Comfortable working under the guidance of more senior team members and open to coaching/feedback.
- Ability to manage tasks, timelines, and priorities with supervision.
- Experience synthesizing data from multiple sources and presenting insights clearly.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with growing confidence presenting to stakeholders.
- Team-oriented mindset, eagerness to collaborate with colleagues across geographies and organizational levels.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 123,000.00 to 190,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
