Job Description
We are seeking a creative, tech-savvy Communications Analyst to help shape and amplify Visa’s technology and AI narratives across internal and external channels. This role will combine integrated communications, Generative AI powered content creation, and social media expertise. You’ll work across the Global Communications organization to ensure our technology stories resonate with audiences worldwide, and you’ll help elevate Visa’s voice in the global conversation on AI, innovation, and the future of payments.
The Analyst will play a critical role in project management of multiple communications initiatives, campaigns and work streams. They will create concise, impactful communications materials such as social media posts, emails, and videos. They will assist with virtual and physical internal meetings, content development and logistics. This individual will also support budget tracking, measurement of communications programs and the Technology Communications team organization and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will exhibit a clear understanding of new and emerging technologies, social media, the changing media landscape, strong research and problem-solving skills, creative thinking, project management expertise, a global mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. The role is a hybrid position and is based in San Francisco. Fully remote employees will not be considered.
Technology Storytelling & Communications
Support integrated communications programs across Visa’s global technology organization, with an emphasis on AI initiatives and innovation
Partner with the Product Communications team to align technology and product narratives
Create concise, high-impact communications materials — including memos, blogs, fact sheets, and executive briefing materials — translating complex technical concepts into engaging stories
Assist in the creation of visual and written content using Generative AI tools
Support internal communications programs to engage employees across Visa’s Technology organization and the enterprise
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Support social media copywriting leveraging AI for content ideation and production
Monitor platform performance metrics and recommend data-driven optimizations to increase reach and engagement
Stay ahead of emerging digital and AI trends to ensure Visa’s social media presence is innovative and impactful
Project Management
Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple communications campaigns from start to finish
Track and report on communications metrics, including AI-generated content performance

Coordinate logistics for global communications meetings, events, and executive speaking engagements
Support cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment between internal and external messaging
Facilitate coordination of communications and administrative processes across the team
Assisting with developing and updating PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and other documents as needed
Preparing meeting materials including assisting with the creation of presentations, handouts and other related materials
Review, evaluate and track corporate speaking requests
Develop reporter briefing documents and speaking briefs for various Visa executives
Support ongoing communication with Visa’s network of global communications partners, including compiling agendas and drafting recaps
Manage executive communications updates and distribute to broader team
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
3 years of communications experience, ideally with a mix of agency and internal position
Creative, curious, positive and high-energy individual with an ability to execute
Knowledge of social and digital communication channels
Highly effective project management skills and proven track-record of managing projects within a highly matrixed organization or teams
Experience using Generative AI tools for visual and written content creation
Experience working on large events that require cross-functional collaboration
Exceptional writing and editing skills, including social media copywriting
Effective at problem solving
Expertise in all Microsoft Office programs
Understanding of social media best practices and basic performance metrics, specifically for LinkedIn and X
Excellent verbal communication, including interpersonal and presentation skills
Able to build a large network of colleagues across functions and geographies
Excellent attention to detail, strong organization and time management skills
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 104,900.00 to 148,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
