VP, East
Via is on a mission to create public transportation systems that provide far greater access to jobs, healthcare, and education. Our platform serves as the technology backbone for modern transit networks, transforming antiquated and siloed public transportation systems into smart, data-driven, and efficient digital networks. With hundreds of agency partners around the world, Via is recognized as the leading transportation technology and service provider globally.
We're hiring a VP to own the Eastern U.S. region: a 10-figure book today, with a mandate to help drive Via to $1bn. This is a P&L-level leadership role with a clear number, a strong team, and real autonomy. You'll run the region like a business: setting strategy, closing the deals that matter, and building the commercial machine to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Have full ownership over our Eastern U.S. region: new bookings, renewals, expansion
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of enterprise sales and account leaders
- Personally close strategic deals with state DOTs, large transit authorities, and national private-sector partners
- Shape regional go-to-market strategy in partnership with Marketing, Product, and Finance
- Represent Via at the executive level: in rooms with mayors, commissioners, governors' offices, and C-suites
- Drive competitive intelligence and market positioning; know where we're winning, where we're not, and why
Who You Are
- You've built or scaled a commercial region or business unit from early traction to $50-100m+ in revenue
- You've led and developed senior sales teams (10+ people), not just managed them
- You're as comfortable in a procurement negotiation as a keynote stage
- You have deep enterprise sales instincts and a track record of closing complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder deals
- You move between strategy and execution fluidly; you can set a plan and run through walls to hit it
- You've worked in or around government, infrastructure, or regulated industries (bonus if transit, mobility, or SaaS)
- 8-12+ years of experience across some combination of consulting, enterprise sales, and commercial leadership

This role reports to the CRO and is based on the East Coast. Travel 25–50%.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $250,000-$450,000 OTE. Final compensation will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills
