CO Salary Range: USD 30.00 - 36.00 per hour
Process Instructor
Shift: MON-THUR 5:00AM-3:30PM
General Purpose:
The main objective of the process instructor is to support team leaders through process training to develop their team members to achieve the goals defined in Safety, Quality, 5s, and productivity according to the Training standards.
Ensuring the day to day operations in the factory are seamless and adhere to the plan and schedules. Maintaining production and assembly standards and working towards improving productivity without compromising safety and quality.
Typical responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Following the HSE standards and ensuring a clean workstation and production floor.
• Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment.
• Working on the production line and meeting production targets.
• Monitoring the assembly line according to the Quality Standards set and follow the work instructions.
Responsibilities:

• Deliver Production shop floor training within the Process area.
• Assess and maintain team competencies and records in LMS.

• Identify training requirements for the team based on the production requirements.
• Provide team training statistics for training coordinator (minimum 1 time a month)
• Provide training and competency advise to the Team Lead.
• Attend factory training meetings, including regular team training meetings.
• Organize the training activities in cooperation with factory Training team.
• Support delivery of training programs as required.
• Participates in new projects for new product releases in his/her own factory.
• Has mobility availability to support any factory in Vestas worldwide and travels there when required.
• Can solve immediate problems on the line (QBD level 1 - 2) and knows the escalation process.
• Maintain the Local training records within the LMS.
Tasks Description:
• Conduct Process training
• Maintain the training record system for an area of responsibility.
• Plan and conduct process training for the production area.
• Plan and conduct Manufacturing BASIC Training for new employees to the production line.
• Produce and display the teams' Training reports for their production line
• Assess the team members on manufacturing process/skill levels for their production area.
• Advice Team lead on the respective skill of the team
• Ensure equalizations and competencies remain current (they don't go over expire dates)

Education, Training, and Skills Required:
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in the Process area to a TDR level 4 or above.
• Minimum (1) year experience in the process area required or previous experience inside Vestas as Mentor, Team Lead, or equivalent.
• Candidate should be performing at or above expectations according to CPD performance and behavior feedback and should not have any open/active warnings or performance improvement plans.
• Able to read and interpret documents (operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, engineering drawings), generate routine reports/correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees are required.
• Able to use the basic functionality included in the Microsoft Office Application Suite and Vestas' proprietary or subscribed-to computer applications used for managing or tracking production-related activities (ex. time tracking and material transactions) is required.
Salary Range: $30.00-$36 (Plus $3.00 Differntial)
