Technical Product Manager - SFMC

The Senior Technical Product Manager will lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of solutions built on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This role bridges business objectives and technical execution, ensuring seamless integration of SFMC with enterprise systems and delivering personalized, omnichannel customer experiences. The position requires deep technical expertise in SFMC, strong product management skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, marketing, and business teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the product vision for SFMC-based solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for SFMC platform enhancements and integrations.
  • Oversee SFMC configuration and integration with Adobe Experience Cloud, AWS, and other enterprise systems.
  • Drive implementation of advanced features such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder for personalized campaigns.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of SFMC initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to manage technical dependencies and ensure platform scalability and performance.
  • Partner with marketing, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • Communicate product updates, risks, and progress to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Enable advanced segmentation and personalization using SFMC tools, AMPscript, and SQL.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards across all marketing workflows.
  • Monitor platform health, optimize performance, and implement proactive measures for stability.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in campaign execution.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder).
  • Strong knowledge of AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL for dynamic content and data manipulation.
  • Experience integrating SFMC with Adobe Real-Time CDP,AEM and other MarTech platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, manage backlogs, and prioritize features in Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, customer journey orchestration, and omnichannel engagement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • SFMC certifications (Email Specialist, Developer, Consultant), AWS Certification
