Senior Manager, Domain Architecture

Scope and Architectural Focus
This role owns and evolves architecture across following domains:
- Front End Architecture - e.g. including React/React Native
- Domain Services and Event streaming Architecture Patterns supporting scalable and omnichannel experiences
- Data & Intelligence Platforms
- AI-PDLC and AI Enablement with automation of architecture controls across the engineering stack
- Explore GenAI and agentic architectures to test and learn, then scale; enhance client, crew, and developer experiences through incorporation of GenAI solutions
- Coordinate with and influence cross divisional architecture leaders to socialize and build enterprise-wide patterns.
- Define and Advocate architecture solutions that are resilient and run effectively and efficiently in multiple regions and/or are multi-cloud aware
- Define and maintain Workplace Technology's Strategic Architecture direction for cloud native product engineering
Core Responsibilities:
1. Manages staff. Develops, mentors and provides guidance, training and motivation as necessary. Conducts regular one-on-one and staff meetings. Hires, evaluates and counsels crew. Follows corporate disciplinary procedures per established Vanguard standards as required. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, provides feedback, and recommends wage increases in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
2. Builds and develops a team of a technology discipline Architects. Allocates Architects across a portfolio of strategic initiatives. Works directly with Architects in conceptualizing business technology solutions that have the potential to produce transformational outcomes.
3. Continuously pursues advance-level technical acumen: establishes working relationships with strategic and boutique technology providers; leverages the Internet as a critical resource for related knowledge capital, inclusive of blogs, podcasts, webinar, etc.; attends conferences and engages in associated activities (e.g., conducting presentations, leading workshops, etc.)
4. Acts as an outstanding thought leader in primary area of responsibility.

5. Meets information architecture financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
6. Builds commitment to information strategy by considering and evaluating different points of view, creating a cohesive argument
7. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
8. Responsible for architecture governance, auditing, monitoring, planning, and assessment.
9. Leads information sharing sessions to disseminate new best practices and public cloud services.
10. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience, in a global environment with at least three years in a technology architect role.
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. M.Tech, MBA in Technology Management, preferred
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise IT architecture strategy, vendor engagement, and systems integration.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a track record of influencing executive stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive transformational initiatives in complex, enterprise environments.
