We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team in Dublin. In this role, you'll go beyond analysis-you'll partner with senior stakeholders, lead complex data initiatives, and transform insights into strategic decisions that shape the future of the business.

In this role you will

• Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities, translate challenges into analytical frameworks, and lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact analytics projects
• Act as a trusted analytics expert on cross-functional initiatives, providing both strategic direction and hands-on expertise
• Analyse complex datasets (structured and unstructured) to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights using advanced analytical techniques
• Validate methodologies and outputs to ensure robustness and accuracy across the team's work
• Bring data to life through compelling visualisations and presentations, enabling stakeholders to take confident, informed action
• Own and optimise recurring reporting and analytics processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency
• Mentor and coach analysts, contributing to the growth and development of the wider analytics community
• Represent analytics internally and externally, sharing knowledge and best practices through forums, events, and seminars

What it takes

• Proven experience in a senior or lead analytics role, delivering complex data projects with tangible business impact
• Strong ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and influence decision-making at senior levels
• Expertise in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Python/R, Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience working with large, complex data sets and ensuring data quality and integrity
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor others, fostering collaboration and excellence
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex insights for diverse audiences
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in analytics

Special Factors

• Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position
• This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
