Sales Executive

To identify, develop or expand UHNW relationships ($5 million or more) for Vanguard, primarily capitalizing on opportunities resulting from client and prospective client calls or referrals into the BDG department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to identify and prioritize lead opportunities within current client base, coordinate outreach efforts, and share feedback to refine lead generation strategies.
  • Effectively present Vanguard's investment capabilities, products, and services, including investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed individual and team targets.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
    Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and new products in the Wealth Management industry.
  • Participate in networking events, seminars, and community activities to enhance the organization's visibility and attract new clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management in the CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required. Series 7, 63, and 65 or CFP required. Master's degree or professional certifications, such as CFA preferred.
  • Eight to ten years of financial services experience with at least five years in a senior level client relationship or sales role. Three to five years of successful UHNW or Institutional relationship executive or sales experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, and wealth management solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with Ultra High Net Worth clients.
