Request for Proposal, Specialist

Core Responsibilities

• Responds to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) using pre-written text and creating new text for complex and high profile opportunities. May review RFPs from more senior professionals for quality control and guidance.
• Reviews, interprets, and researches questions about Vanguard and related subject matters within short timeframes. Owns the RFP completion process at each stage, including research, writing, revision, and production.
• Performs research on investments, fund performance, or other financial services topics. Coordinates subject matter expert research as needed.
• Assists with RFP content management to update samples for future use and archive final responses for retrieval.
• May respond to other requests, including industry surveys, as needed.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least five years related work experience and two years Prior RFP/RFI experience
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
• RFP knowledge management experience
• Strong stakeholder management
• High emotional intelligence
• Strategic thinking
• Persuasive writing
• Strong project management skills
