Domain Architect - Enterprise Data Architecture

Join Vanguard's Enterprise Data Architecture team and help shape the future of our AI-Ready Data Strategy. This critical role will help define and evolve the enterprise data architecture blueprint, ensuring our data ecosystem is scalable, secure, and optimized for AI capabilities. You'll collaborate across subdivisions to establish standards, patterns, and frameworks that enable trusted, high-quality data for the enterprise. Responsibilities:

• Expertise in synthesizing business and technical requirements into world class data architectures and technical blueprints.
• Designs data and platform architectures for Operational through Analytics phases of the data lifecycle.
• Provides thought leadership, working with partners to make decisions and recommendations on the future of data architecture.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• AWS Data Services.
• Data Architecture experience required.
• Data Modeling and Data Lakehouse technologies required.
• Databricks, semantic modeling and dimensional modeling preferred.
• Minimum of ten years related work experience, with at least five years of technology architect experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
