Application Engineering Technical Lead - II

In this role, you will work on a cross-functional scrum team, collaborating directly with product owners, designers, developers, scrum leads and architects to test, build and iterate on the latest products for our clients. You will build relationships, enhance your technical expertise and be a part of continuous improvement and innovation in engineering. You will get to lead and coach other developers.

If you have -

  • Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or Java
  • Hands-on experience building UI applications with Angular, React, or Stencil
  • Experience designing and operating systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, API Gateway)
  • Experience designing and building REST and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with observability tools (Splunk, Honeycomb)
  • Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD (Bitbucket, Bamboo)
  • Solid understanding of client-side architecture, design patterns, data structures, and dependency injection
  • Experience with agent-based systems (Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph)
  • Experience working with LLMs/SLMs (Claude, Gemini, LLaMA)
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Willing to learn and grow

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and implementation across applications and services
  • Define and review architecture, design decisions, and engineering standards
  • Guide developers on system design, code quality, and best practices
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues; perform root cause analysis
  • Ensure systems meet requirements for scalability, reliability, and security
  • Drive improvements in architecture, tooling, and development processes
  • Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders
  • Review and approve technical documentation and design artifacts
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing strategy

Qualifications

  • 6+ years related work experience, with at least one year of development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
