The Sr Supply Chain Mgt Analyst will provide leadership and consultative guidance as a Supply Chain subject matter expert driving best practices. Extract and analyze data to provide recommendations for improving Forecasting and Replenishment processes and solutions. Responsible for engaging multiple levels of business partners to optimize operations through process improvements to drive supply chain initiatives forward.

Flexible Work Policy: The Sr. Supply Chain Mgt Analyst position has been segmented as Hybrid, meaning the work is a combination of onsite (only 2 days per month) and virtual. This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Rosemont, IL.

Essential Responsibilities

One US Foods Way: Ensure best practices are identified and deployed where opportunities exist across the company.

Sense of Urgency: Quickly respond to requests and remediate issues while also being able to drive strategic initiatives toward completion. Supports Demand Planning and Purchasing organizations with detailed data and business analysis.

Project Management: Leads large and small initiatives on time to define new processes and resolve business problems, collaborate across multiple organizational groups and levels within the business.

Opportunity Assessment: Identify and then quantify the financial impact and return on investment for process improvement opportunities across different departments that work with replenishment. Ensure to analyze the actual results versus stated expectations.

Process Development: Develop and improve business processes by using statistical and continuous improvement methodologies. Recommends innovative solutions based on analysis.

Project Documentation: Helping define business needs and requirements and then translating into tangible project plans and/or proposals. Formulating and creation of best practices for supply chain processes with replenishment teams.

Communication Management: Understanding of change management methods to ensure successful implementation of process changes; maintaining strong and consistent communication between business partners.

Technology Evaluation: Pursues and assesses system utilization, exploring new applications for system capabilities and resolving business problems with an effective solution. Deliver actionable insights, forward-looking and sustainable solutions. Drafts business requirements to facilitate report and/or technical enhancements.

Education/Training:
BA/BS Business or related field required; MBA desired.

Related Experience:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Forecasting and/or inventory management, data analytics, and business analysis.

Food service distribution experience preferred.
• Minimum 1-year project management experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience in gathering, organizing, and analyzing various data sets to utilize for presenting recommendations.
Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication / presentation skills while being able to work with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent decision-making, analytical, problem solving skills.
Strong knowledge of Supply Chain best practices and principles.
Proficient in Supply Chain principles and forecasting / replenishment systems. (SAP/JDA/Oracle/Manugistics/AWR).
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access required. SQL knowledge is a plus.
