To remain competitive and future-ready, our workforce must be equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to adopt AI responsibly and effectively. We are seeking a Sr. AI Learning & Enablement Manager to design and lead enterprise-wide programs that build AI literacy, strengthen applied skills, and drive cultural adoption of AI tools across functions and roles.

At Gannett, we believe AI should amplify human potential, not replace it-this role ensures our people thrive alongside technology.

This leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every employee-from individual contributors to senior leaders-can harness AI as a trusted collaborator. • Embed responsible AI use, ethics, and governance into all learning experiences.

• Ensure programs are accessible, inclusive, and adaptable to diverse learning needs and global contexts.

Program Delivery & Operations

• Lead the end-to-end rollout of AI training initiatives at scale, blending digital learning, instructor-led workshops, and applied practice labs.

• Manage program logistics, communications, and engagement strategies to maximize adoption and impact.

• Implement scalable learning technologies (LMS, LXP, AI-driven platforms) to deliver personalized, data-informed learning experiences.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

• Collaborate with HR, IT, Legal, Data, AI Council, AI Task Force and Business Unit leaders to ensure alignment and integration of AI upskilling with organizational priorities.

• Manage relationships with external vendors, universities, and strategic partners providing AI content, certifications, and platforms.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on building a culture of AI adoption and continuous learning.

Measurement & Impact

• Define success metrics and dashboards to track program reach, skill development, and business impact.

• Use data to continuously evaluate, refine, and scale initiatives.

• Report outcomes to executive leadership and recommend next-phase investments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related field.

• 7+ years in L&D or equivalent experience in large-scale workforce capability development.

• Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning theory, and change management principles.

• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Familiarity with AI concepts, tools (e.g., generative AI platforms), and their application in the workplace.
