We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Deployment Engineer to lead complex, large-scale data migration and deployment projects. In this role, you will be the technical cornerstone for migrating enterprises from various source environments (including Microsoft 365, on-premises Exchange, Box, Dropbox, and file servers) into Google Workspace.

The ideal candidate possesses deep architectural knowledge of cloud ecosystems, an expert-level command of industry-standard migration utilities-specifically Movebot and CloudM-and the leadership skills required to guide clients through seamless technical transitions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Migration Architecture & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end technical execution of complex data migration projects into Google Workspace.
  • Design, configure, and optimize migration pipelines using Movebot and CloudM (both CloudM Migrate and CloudM Manage).
  • Perform deep-dive discovery and source-environment assessments to identify potential data fidelity risks, permission mapping complexities, and scale challenges.
  • Develop robust mapping strategies for identity, mail, calendars, contacts, and complex hierarchical file structures.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to dissect complex error logs and API responses to isolate and remediate migration blockers efficiently.
  • Data Fidelity Focus: An obsession with maintaining metadata integrity (permissions, timestamps, authorship) across disparate systems.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust with enterprise IT executives and technical peers alike.
