Work as part of a packaging crew during a designated shift to achieve on-time production performance including product quality and accuracy standards and operational safety.

Packaging Department Tasks

  • Assist lead operators and/or supervisor with general material handling duties including positioning pallets and sorting and preparing product for delivery and using post office and other equipment
  • Stack product from the pressroom and hand inserting
  • Work as part of a team on post-press equipment including inserting machines, joggers, conveyors, stackers, strappers, bottom wrap machines, loaders, printers, address labelers, scales, motorized pallet jacks and other post press equipment.
  • Perform general packaging maintenance including equipment blowdown, sweeping floors, and pallet & packaging related materials disposal.
