What will you be doing?
Senior Financial Accountant

Hybrid - Dorking 3 days a week (Flex to use London office one day per week)

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is a hands-on accounting role with a focus on managing the period-end close process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supporting senior stakeholders with high-quality financial insight.

You will work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business to consolidate and interpret financial information, you will also play a key role in supporting and coaching part-qualified team members.

What will you bring?

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and coordinating the monthly and quarterly close processes across multiple accounting bases.
• Preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Consolidating financial data and preparing clear, concise summaries for senior management.
• Supporting the delivery of audit requirements and maintaining robust financial controls.
• Coaching and mentoring junior team members to build capability and ensure high standards.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes.

About you:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent) with several years post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of period-end processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator, able to present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborative team player
• Experience in financial services is beneficial but not essential
