A UX Designer is responsible for crafting intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences that meet user needs and align with business goals. This role blends user research, design thinking, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions across platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • User-Centred Research & Strategy
    • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to uncover pain points and opportunities
    • Develop personas, journey maps, and scenarios to guide design decisions
    • Translate research insights into actionable design strategies
  • Design Execution & Prototyping
    • Create wireframes, user flows, storyboards, and high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma, Axure, Sketch, and InVision
    • Design intuitive interfaces that balance aesthetics, usability, and accessibility
    • Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and accessibility experts to align on goals and deliverables
      Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and leadership
    • Participate in design critiques and contribute to shared design systems
  • Usability & Accessibility
    • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.2 AA)
    • Conduct usability evaluations and A/B testing to validate design effectiveness

  • Collaborate with design system teams to create reusable components and maintain consistency
  • Document design patterns and contribute to evolving design libraries
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
    • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices
    • Experiment with new design approaches and technologies (e.g., AI-enhanced UX, low-code prototyping)
    • Foster a growth mindset and mentor junior designers

  • Required Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio (Sr UX Designer)
    • Proven expertise in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Axure)
    • Proven solid grasp of design thinking, information architecture, and responsive design
    • Proven excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
