Primary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the migration of existing applications to Azure, assisting with modernization tasks, deployment steps, dependency mapping, and troubleshooting
- Support the design and implementation of secure Azure cloud services and infrastructure, including compute, storage, identity, networking, and monitoring
- Deploy AI agents into production web applications, including LLM powered or autonomous features that interact with users or support workflows
- Integrate AI agent workflows with backend systems, APIs, and cloud resources
- Assist with developing solution designs and architecture patterns under the guidance of senior engineers or architects
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to build consistent, automated cloud environments
- Contribute to backend development using Python or JavaScript to support cloud and AI integrations
- Work closely with cross functional teams (architecture, engineering, product, security) to deliver scalable cloud and AI-driven solutions
- Use AI tools to automate development tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance operational workflows
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application, integration, and cloud environment issues
- Independently perform coding, unit testing, and peer collaboration within Agile teams
- Adhere to code quality standards, best practices, and organization-wide engineering processes
- Follow Agile methodologies and deliver features within expected timelines
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience with Agile/lean development practices
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure AD/Identity, or Azure Monitor)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
- Experience contributing to the migration of an existing application to Azure, such as rehosting, re-platforming, or modernization activities
- Hands-on experience deploying at least one AI agent or LLM-powered feature into a website or web application
- Examples: interactive site agent, workflow assistant, customer support bot, AI-driven web feature
- Exposure to infrastructure as code concepts (Terraform preferred)
- Familiarity with backend development using Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes fundamentals (AKS experience desirable but not required)
- Proven solid problem solving skills and the ability to collaborate with senior engineers and architecture teams
- Proven growth mindset and willingness to deepen expertise in cloud architecture and AI systems
