Primary Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Guide architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
- Team Management: Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering growth, collaboration, and high performance
- Project Delivery: Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and practices (e.g., Agile, DevOps)
- Talent Development: Hire, onboard, and develop engineering talent, promoting a culture of learning and innovation
- Budget & Resource Planning: Manage team budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships when applicable
- Risk Management: Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies early in the development lifecycle

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- Technical Expertise
- Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building scalable backend services.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices deployment
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services including AKS, App Services, and Azure DevOps
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and integration into enterprise applications
- Leadership & Management
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and driving engineering excellence
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills
- Architecture & Design
- Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code
Soft Skills:
- Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to mentor and grow engineering talent
- Solid collaboration and decision-making skills
